Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities / หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

  • Develop and improve policies and guidelines related to model risk management within the organization, including the creation of related documentation standards.
  • Oversee and manage model risk throughout the model lifecycle.
  • Define model taxonomy and manage models according to the established categories.
  • Establish and maintain a central model inventory, including storage and review of model documentation, test reports, and other governance documents.
  • Coordinate with model owners, developers, validators, and users to ensure that developed and used models are accurate, comply with legal requirements, and adhere to internal bank standards.
  • Conduct model tiering and model risk assessments to allocate resources for validation tasks, identify potential risks and develop model risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the monitoring and validation of models to ensure ongoing compliance, performance, and alignment with the model risk appetite.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on model policies, procedures, and best practices in model governance.
  • Prepare model risk reports to committees and senior management, addressing key issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Coordinate with external regulatory, internal audit, compliance, and risk management teams to support internal and external audits and assessments related to model risk topics.
  • Continuously monitor and improve best practices, regulatory requirements, and new trends in model governance.

Qualifications / คุณสมบัติ

  • High caliber Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, financial engineering or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate to different audiences (technical staff, senior management and auditors)
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies, data mining, financial products and statistical analysis
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in common desktop business applications
  • Proficient with dashboard business tools, such as PowerBI or VBA is a plus
  • Must possess good judgment, logic, ability to multi-task and strong personality
  • Must be able to perform well under pressure
