Job Summary

            Responsible for managing the IT Quality Assurance Engineering Department to improve, develop and maintain overall quality of IT Quality Assurance Engineering in accordance with specified standards to support operations and enhance efficiency in the bank's operations. Plan and manage teams with best practices regarding Quality Assurance and testing process in Software development. Leading test scenario design, create test cases, perform manual testing and implement automation scripts to increase customer confidence and company's credibility. Striving for quality excellence and working hard to improve work processes, productivity in order for our company to better compete with others.

Role and Responsibilities / หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

Management

  • Manage and monitor on the implementation of annual and short-term strategic plans that is consistent with the business in order to achieve the highest benefit for business operations.
  • Supervise and support operational strategic planning and assist Management in compliance with the Information Technology strategic plan.
  • Manage team performance as well as supervise, follow up and evaluate the performance of the team according to the objectives and performance indicators.
  • Manage the resources, including time, personal and tools for maximum benefit.

Operational Process

  • Supervise and advise the team to work efficiently and effectiveness.
  • Initiate and propose guidelines and development plans in new IT Quality Assurance processes to support business needs.
  • Evaluate and propose appropriate technology to increase the efficiency of the Bank's operations and provide a sustainable IT Quality Assurance Engineering to create benefits for the Bank.
  • Manage and supervise the IT Quality Assurance Engineering process in accordance with the process and objectives, strictly established, especially with respect to the risks and security arising under the IT work.
  • Supervise, control and supervise the project management in the department to be according to the plan and achieve the targets.

Communication and other aspects

  • Participate in IT meetings and attend relevant events, including supervision team and work as assigned.
  • Be a consultant or middleman in solving problems between departments related IT Quality Assurance Engineering processes, IT process and IT systems.
  • Develop and promote team skills improvement, including technical skills and soft skills.

Qualifications / คุณสมบัติ

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in development and/or testing role with proven experience as a QA manager or relevant role
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies of QA and standards in software industry, common QA testing tools and best practice
  • Good knowledge of automation script development in common languages like Python, JAVA, Shell script, Selenium, Robot, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge in banking systems and agile software development practices will be advantage
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

  • Good in English speaking and writing
