Job Summary

Your responsibility as a database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, capacity, integrity and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database with the fit recommendation and technology, as well as in troubleshooting any issues

Role and Responsibilities / หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

• Installation, Upgrades, Migrations and Configuration Database.
• Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.
• Design Backup Recovery Strategy based on application requirements like Schedule, retention etc. 
• Maintains database security and integrity following policy and governance.
• Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
• Perform database performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Setup monitoring and alerting on database performance, system metrics, trends.
• Maintain, and manage the database system in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Supporting day-to-day operation, incident and change.
• Assist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning.
• Provides help to junior DBA with complex database tasks.
• Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration.
• Advance database administration – replication, migration, data distribution, etc.

Qualifications / คุณสมบัติ

• Experience 7+ years in Database Administration and related DB Software tools management.
• Positive attitude, Self-motivated, fast learner, and have strong service minded.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, RAC and Data Guard.
• Must have extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL are advantages.
• Experience working in the Azure Data Lake and other RDS on cloud environments.
• Experience working in the ETL Tool (IBM DataStage, MS SSIS) is an added advantage.
• Experienced in Data Warehouse and Big Data on design and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB), GraphQL (DGraph) and Elastic are advantages.
• Knowledge of in-memory database (Redis) is an added advantage.
• On-call / On-site requirements to ensure 24 x 7 support of database operations
• UNIX and Windows batch scripting knowledge is mandatory.
• Knowledge of automation framework (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Git) are advantages.
