Job Summary

The Research Assistant will have to provide an analysis of securities data for Equity analysts and aid them in regard to the preparation of data to write up investment decision research papers and clients’requests. Other aspects of research assistant work involve producing financial models, evaluating public information, and gathering any other available forms of data to support the analysts’ work.

Role and Responsibilities / หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

•    Work with Equity research analysts on projects involving financial analysis and investigative research.
•    Study and understanding the fundamentals of industrial and company coverage and researching sector trends that may impact company/sector recommendations.
•    Gather data from primary and secondary sources and keep abreast of industry-related news flow. Analyze implications of news/industry developments on companies under coverage.
•    Conduct and maintain financial modeling and industry analysis on companies to support senior research analysts and help produce research reports.
•    Develop efficient ways of combining data from multiple systems to produce analysis and seeking for alternative data sources.

Qualifications / คุณสมบัติ

•    Bachelor’s degree or above graduates in Finance, Economics or Accounting, or a related field
•    Experience in utilizing Excel to build/maintain financial models; An advanced level of Excel proficiency is expected and required
•    Ability to use Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ASPEN, Morning Star, Bisnews, Setsmart and SQL (programming) will be a plus.
•    Strong service mind and flexibilty to handle various turn-around time of data requests 
•    A highly competitive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
