Job Summary

Maintain the optimal performance of our trading system. Customers rely on a reliable system, and this role is crucial in ensuring that happens. As an Application Support Engineer, you'll work in a late-night shift (3PM - Midnight) to provide support for our live trading system and ensure our users are always satisfied. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with analytical instinct. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to operate AWS for a cutting-edge financial system serving a rapidly growing user base at scale.
 

Role and Responsibilities / หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

•    Providing technical support for production system issues and serving as a go-to person for our customer support team.
•    Working in a flexible shift to cover extended service hours.
•    Ensuring problems are mitigated, resolved, and their root causes addressed.
•    Improving overall system supportability by collaborating with developers, product owners, and SREs.
•    Executing production changes as needed.
•    Automating away the repetitive support tasks

Qualifications / คุณสมบัติ

•    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•    Experience in supporting or troubleshooting critical production infrastructure (or a willingness to learn).
•    Experience in system administration or development roles on public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
•    Knowledge of K8S, MySQL, Linux and other modern application stacks (a plus).
•    Proficiency in at least one scripting language.
